Tilicho Mesokanto Pass Trekking Overview

The Tilicho Pass trekking is a tea house and a camping trek, which is truly one of the most adventurous and challenging and at the same time one of the finest treks in the Annapurna Region. The best time to undertake the Mesokanto La Pass trekking is from early May to the end of June, each year. Our team of experts has been organizing the Mesokanto La Pass trekking with the best guidance and assistance. The latest date that we organized the Mesokanto La Pass trekking was on June 07-13, 2016. If you are skeptical about our service, you can check out the reviews for this trek on Trip Advisor posted by the people who trekked with us on that date!

Tilicho High Pass trekking is also known as Mesokanto la pass trek. We start this trek with a 7-hour scenic and serene drive from Kathmandu to the green lush forests of Besisahar. This tea-house and camping trek gives you an opportunity to come face to face with the world’s highest lake at an elevation of 4949m. With one of the demanding trekking trails in the Annapurna region, the Mesokanto La Pass trekking is also an excellent choice for those who are interested in understanding the diverse culture and tradition of the Gurung people.

Along the route, we confront the alluring Marsayangdi River and gorge through the remote and beautiful district, Manang. We also come across the northern flank of Annapurna at the majestic Thorong-La. The route then passes through the Last Village of Manang, Khanshar Village. The most challenging and demanding pass in the entire trek is the Meso Kanta Pass of the Annapurna area to Jomsom. After we get to Jomsom, we fly to Pokhara or we either continue our trek through Lower mustang onto Kali Gandaki valley and then to Beni and finally, we get to Pokhara.

Lake Tilicho Circuit, Incredible

We worked with Ram Kumar for several months before arriving in Kathmandu. He was always very accommodating and also lined up competitively in terms of price with other trekking outfits. Arranged airport pick up, transport from Kathmandu to Pokhara with two days of whitewater rafting thrown in, flights to Jomsom and back, horses from Jomsom to Muktinath, trekking with guide and porters up over Thorung La to Manang to Tilicho then camping several nights from Tilicho to Jomsom on an off the beaten track route. Our porter guide team was fabulous special kudos to Saroj. I definitely recommend Alpine Eco treks for any Nepal trekking. I would like to do Kailash someday and when I do, I will give Ram Kumar a call.
