In order to carry out this expedition in a pleasurable and successful manner, more than 35 minor trekking peaks are open for Alpine climbing under the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). The climbing of these peaks is strictly monitored formulated by the NMA and in some instances by the Government of Nepal. In order to avenge these beautiful but challenging peaks, one should get a permit, hire an experienced climbing guide and should go through the registered trekking companies of Nepal.

If you are mentally and physically prepared to undertake this strenuous yet glorious trek, previous experience is not necessary to climb the Thorong peak. Thorong peak is the shortest trek possible to undertake a 6000m Peak in the majestic Annapurna region. There are no detailed maps obtainable about this area of Nepal. The highest point that you will be during this trek is Thorong La Pass which is at 5416m. A trek for people who adore the existence and presence of glorious flora and fauna, this trek graces you with the panoramic views of the ever so stunning Annapurna Himalayan range and Tibetan range. Accustomed to the stunning mountain landscape is the delightful and welcoming settlement of the local Gurungs with their basic yet extremely cozy slate-roofed houses. Discover the incredible rhododendron forests in full bloom and jumper forests guaranteed to paint smiles across your faces. There are no detailed maps obtainable about this area of Nepal.

An easy climb for the Mountaineers in terms of altitude and the mild snow level. As you avenge the summit of this peak, you will be bestowed with splendid views of the Nilgiri peak, Tilicho peak, Dhaulagiri range, Annapurna range as well as the beautiful landscapes of the Mustang region with the deepest gorge in the world, the Kaligandaki valley.  


  • Thorong peak permit is issue by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). We need to summit entire documents including group leader’s bao –data. Climbing guide, cook and sardar should have helicopter insurance as well.

Thorong Peak Climbing itinerary is a mixture of lodges and tents accommodations while you are on the mountain. Actually trek part we accommodate on the best lodges/guest house and have been chosen according to their eco-friendliness, best location, hygiene, and friendly nature. On climbing section will accommodate with comfortable two men camping tent, foam mattress, 4 season sleeping bag. We maintain standard & comfort in every means with the best of our knowledge, experiences, and costs. All accommodations on trekking/climbing lodge & tent is based on twin share. We provide standard hotels in Kathmandu with breakfast.

Food during the trip

Freshly cook food on a full board basis will be provided both on trekking and climbing sections through the best-provided lodges and by our experienced and trained cook during the climbing respectively, foods are a high level of balance diet, hygiene, and safety. Three meals (Nepali, Sherpa, and Tibetan, Continental, Italian and Indian cusions) will be provided both in lodges and during the camp. Each day dinner and breakfast will be provided in the same lodge/camp you spend the night. Lunch camp will be fixed on a pleasant surrounding.

Our entire adventure trips are designed to allow gradual height gain, spread over a number of days. High altitude is not predictable sickness, so there is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude but, for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent to height will produce minimal effects. We can provide 'Gamow Bag' as a precautionary measure as per your request on renting basis. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. All trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude sickness, and our leaders, guides and staffs are well trained to administer them and to know the symptoms.
