Leisurely Level

Leisurely level trekking involves 3 – 4 hours a day walking at a steady pace below 2500 meters for around 5 to 7 days trekking trip.

World famous Sarangkot is one of the stunning view points in Nepal offers majestic views of Fishtails, Annapurna ranges and Dhaulagiri massif. Near from Pokhara, this vantage point is also popular for sunrise and sunsets view. Situated at an altitude of 1700m, Sarangkot is a starting point of adventure Paragliding and Zip flyers. We can have the breathtaking views of Pokhara valley and Phewa from this wonderful ridge.

Pokhara Sarangkot hiking is one of the best hiking in Nepal suitable for old and weary, family with children travelers. Here you can see panoramic views of Annapurna (8091m), Manasalu (8165m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Machhapuchare (6997m) and 25 other mountains over 6000 meters high. This hike is also a good side trip for those adventure trekkers who are doing Annapurna base camp or circuit. We are organizing this hike from both city, Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Pokhara Sarangkot Hiking – itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport, meet one of our guides and transfer to hotel. After rest and refreshment, in the evening join the welcome dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant with live culture show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: After breakfast, start a full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Your tour guide will take you to Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Kathmandu Durbar squire, historical palace with local bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara about 25 minutes flight or Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus at 07:00AM (200 km. 6/7 hours driving) and over night at hotel in the lake side.

Day 04: Take breakfast in the morning and then drive to Naudanda by car about 1hour drive and trek to Sarangkot, walking through the Chhetri and Brahmins Villages, after three hours gentle walk we will arrive Sarangkot. Sarangkot offers a Himalayan panorama consisting of the mighty peaks such as the Annapurnas, Himalchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung himal. Overnight at guest house.

Day 05: Wake up early in the morning to observe the sunrise over the Whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges including fishtail as well as other Soaring Mountains. After having a breakfast, trek down to Pokhara which will take us slowly two and half hours downhill through small forest and cultivated fields. Overnight in hotel.

Day 06: drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus (200 km. 6/7 hours driving) or fly back to Kathmandu (25 minutes flight). In the evening join Nepali cultural dinner show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Final departure transfer to airport, fly to onward destination.

Visa for Nepal, you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Please kindly bring two passport size photos and passport copy along with you. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100.
