Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01Arrive at Kathmandu airport, meet one of our tour leaders and transfer to hotel. Free rest of the time. In evening briefing about trekking. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 02Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1965m)-nine hours drive by bus or private jeep.
  • Day 03Trek from Dhunche to Thulo Syabrubensi (2130m), 5 to 6 hours walking.
  • Day 04Trek from Thulo Syabrubensi to Bamboo (2180m), 5 to 6 hours walking.
  • Day 05Trek from Bamboo to Ghore Tabela (3020m), 5 to 6 hours walking.
  • Day 06Trek from Ghore Tabela to Langtang (3500m), 5 to 6 hours walking.
  • Day 07Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3800m), 4 to 5 hours. Taste a local cheese made by Yak milk.
  • Day 08Birding excursion around Kyangjin Gompa. Between April to September we will find Ibisbills which breeds on the broad, gravelly river bed near this village.
  • Day 09Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2380m), 5 to 6 hour walking.
  • Day 10Trek from Lama hotel to Thulo Syabru (2130m), 4 to 5 hours walking.
  • Day 11Trek from Thulo Syabru to Chandanbari (Sing Gompa), 3350m, 5 to 6 hours walking.
  • Day 12Trek from Chandanbari to Cholang Pati (3700m), 3 4o t 4 hours walking
  • Day 13Trek from Cholang pati to Lauribina Yak Village (3900m), 3 to 4 hours walking.
  • Day 14Trek from Lauribina Yak village to Gosainkunda Lake (4500m), 3 to 4 hours walking
  • Day 15Trek from Gosainkunda to Lauribina La pass (4800m) then to Phedi (3600m), 4 hours walking.
  • Day 16Trek from Phedi to Ghopte (3485m), 4 hours walking.
  • Day 17Trek from Ghopte to Mangangot (2800m), 4 hours walking.
  • Day 18Trek from Mangangot to Gul Bhanjyang (1750m), 4 hours walking.
  • Day 19Trek from Gul Bhanjyang to Chisa Pani (2190m), 4 hours walking.
  • Day 20Trek from Chisa Pani to Kathmandu via Shivapuri National Park, 4 hours walking.
  • Day 21Rest day in Kathmandu, join the farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 22Final transfer to international airport for your onward flight.

Visa for Nepal, you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Please kindly bring two passport size photos and passport copy along with you. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying USD40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be obtained by paying USD 100.
