Originally, one of our team leaders comes from this village so we have a vast knowledge of Fulkharka village. About a 190 km drive from Kathmandu; Fulkharka is located northwest of Kathmandu valley. The beautiful village lies on the flank of a 3,500m mountain at the base of Ganesh Himal and next to Manaslu.
As the village lies on the border of two ethnic territories, they have a mixed practice of Hindu and Buddhist communities. Fulkharka means 'Flower Garden'. The village is occupied by more than 500 houses and populated mainly by the Adhikari which is one of the highest and most reputed families in Nepal. The village is quite beautiful and scenic.
