The trek combines a magnificent galore of both the cultural and natural panorama that Nepal offers. Moreover, the opportunity to capitalize on the awesome beauty of Mt. and other mountain peaks including Ama Dablam would certainly make this trek a memorable experience of a lifetime.

Everet sunrise hiking vacation begins from the ancient city of Kathmandu, from where a short mountain flight takes us to Lukla (2860m). The real experience of the trek starts from here, every day 5 to 6 hours to walk and enjoy the surrounding including the high mountains the trek finally reach Tengboche Monastery.

This is the highest monastery in the world from where we are able to see the spectacular view of Mt. Everest(8,848m), Amadablam(6,812m), Lhotse(8,516m), Nuptse(7,861m), Thamserku(6,623m) and many more.

This trek is not hard and any age of people can take a part in this wonderful journey. There are nice and comfortable mountain lodges on the way to Tengboche.

Accommodations during  Everest Sunrises View Trek

For the Everest Sunrise view trekking package, the accommodation while staying in Kathmandu will be at a 3-star standard hotel, we will provide Apsara Boutique Hotel which is located in Thamel, just 5km away from the Kathmandu international airport.

We provide a single/double/triple room with daily breakfast in this hotel that features free Wi-Fi connections in every room, minibar, 24-hour laundry service, 24-hour hot shower, 24-hour room service, air conditioning rooms with attached bathrooms, babysitting, 24-hour doctor on call and a beautiful garden restaurant, parking, and many more.

While in the mountain, the accommodations will be on the simple and basic lodges although we try our best to provide you with the best available accommodations from the areas. The accommodation on our first day hike from Lukla to Phakding will be at the Sherpa Guide lodge, which is one of the best accommodations in the area.

This lodge features nice rooms with attached bathrooms, 24 hours running hot shower, great food, nice and warm dining hall with a beautiful garden.

In Namche Bazaar, we will provide accommodation at the Namche hotel. This hotel is one of the best accommodations in the area. This is a 3-star standard hotel with a restaurant and bar/lounge. This hotel has dry cleaning and laundry facilities.

All rooms are soundproofed with an electric blanket, a small heater and a thermos in each room and attached bathrooms with 24-hour running hot showers with western-style toilets. Moreover, the hotel features a WiFi connection, daily housekeeping, a front desk, and luggage storage with delicious Asian and continental meals.

In Khumjung village, we provide Amadablam View Lodge; this lodge offers accommodation with an attached bathroom, hot shower, toilet paper, nice and comfortable bed with western-style toilets.

In Tengboche/Deboche, we provide Rivendell Lodge that features a nice dining hall, single/double rooms with attached bathrooms, hot shower and western-style toilets with WiFi connection.

In Monjo Village, we provide Hotel Mini Tibet; this is a standard accommodation in Manjo village that features a nice dining hall, rooms with attached bathrooms, a hot shower, Wifi connection, nice food, a great location and many more.

In Lukla, we provide Buddha Lodge that features clean rooms with attached bathrooms, fresh foods, local recipes, 24/7 service, fast internet, free baggage storage and welcome drinks and etc…

Food during Everest Sunrise Trek

We provide three meals a day during the trek, Although the Everest region does not come with a wide range of varieties of options, the lodges/hotels we provide you for this trek have a decent range of continental and local foods.

For breakfast, we provide items of bread, eggs, porridge, cereals like muesli and cornflakes, pancakes, hash browns, fries, chapatis etc. And, for lunch and dinner, we provide items of some vegetables like spaghetti, pizza, noodles, sandwiches, soup, momo etc and apple pie, chocolate roll, custard and pudding for dessert.

Fruit is rare and you do not find any seafood on the menu. Nepali staple diet Daal Bhaat, which is a platter of boiled rice, curry, lentil soup and pickles is available in all the lodges. You can also find simple choices of hot beverages that include different types of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot lemon ginger honey, etc.

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport, flight to Lukla and start hiking to Phakding passing Chaurikharka Village, and makes a descent towards the Dudhkosi Ghat. The trekking trail follows the precise bank of the Dudhkosi River until the camp at Phakding (2,640m) is reached. This day we just have a short walk and will rest for the whole day. Little acclimatize day. Overnight at guest house.

Trek from Phkading to Namche Bazaar, the trail crosses Dudhkoshi River through a long suspension bridge, and then the trail leads us crossing side by side along the river to Hilary's Suspension Bridge. The route further climbs from here to Namche Bazaar, the beautiful mountain town with all the modern facilities. Overnight at a hotel in Namche.

Today we will have an acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar. We can either have whole day relax or hike up to Syangboche (Everest view hotel) for the views of the top of the Everest. Later, come back to Namche for overnight.Namche Bazaar is the main trade centre in the Khumbu region; there are shops, restaurants, bakery shops and hotels with hot shower and electricity. There is a colorful market every Saturday. Overnight at hotel.

Today we hike up towards a big hill and reach Everest View Point Hotel after crossing a tiny airstrip on Syangboche. We can take breathe with tea and coffee in this hotel and enjoy the views of Everest, Nuptse and other Himalayan peaks. Then we head to Khumjung, probably one of the best villages in the Khumbu region. Visit Hillary School established by Sir Edmund Hillary and also visit Khunde Village where a place of famous climber and big hospital running by charity. Overnight at a lodge in Khumjung.

On the trek from Khumjung to Tengboche/Deboche, we take a walk descent down to Dudhkoshi River passing through little villages along the way. The trails involve down with forest and across riverside for lunch. We take a final ascent step up for 2 hours through pine and fir forest to reach a small hill, Tengboche. There is the famous Tengboche Monastery to explore for the day. Tengboche offers the best view of Ama Dablem. We head a little further to Deboche for our overnight halt. Overnight at a lodge.

Today day, we need to get up early to see Everest Sunrise view and take pictures. After taking sunrise pictures, today is our free day. We may roam around to Tengboche, which is at 3,860m. The photogenic views from there are considered to be one of the worlds most splendid. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8,501m), Kwangde (6,87m), Tawachee (6,542m), Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserku provide the inspiring views of Himalayan giants. Tengboche also boasts the famous Tengboche monastery. We spend the night in Deboche at a lodge.

Trek from Deboche / Tengboche to Monjo - The trek goes down to the riverside at Fuki Tenga and steady climb through the forest and continues to walk to Namche Bazaar. After Namche, we walk down the hill, cross some suspension bridge and reach Monjo overnight at a lodge.

Leisurely this morning, we trek back to Lukla. You can walk at your own pace and enjoy the lush green scenery around and pass through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village. After arrival in Lukla and you will have time to stroll around the areas and we will re-confirm your flight ticket and enjoy the last celebration dinner with your crew members and overnight at the hotel.

After early breakfast, we walk to Lukla airport, take a mountain flight back to Kathmandu enjoying the panoramic view of the northern Himalayan range. The afternoon is free on your own. In the evening join a farewell dinner hosted by Ram Kumar, the owner of our company. Celebrate the success of your journey with typical Nepali food and a live culture show. Overnight at the hotel.
