Everest region trekking provides a great opportunity to have exceptional experience in the Himalayas. Situated in eastern Nepal, this is the most popular trekking region in Himalaya. Everest region trekking has a wide range of spectacular treks on the foothill of Mount Everest like Everest base camp trekking, Gokyo Lake Trek, Everest three passes trek, Kalapathar trek, Everest view trek, Everest sunrise trek, and many others. The region has lured thousand of adventure seekers to explore and experience high mountain valleys, old monasteries, Buddhist cultures, and wonderful Sherpa villages and stunning views of the lofty snowy mountains of Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Makalu (8481m), Mt Ama Dablam (6812m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) and many more.

The Everest region is also known as the Khumbu region is protected as the Sagarmatha National Park by the government of Nepal and in 1979 it was nominated as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. The park is serene of hardy terrain with deep gorges, glaciers and gigantic rocks. Spread over an area of 1148 sq km, the park is home to wildlife such as musk deer, Ghoral, Red panda, snow leopard, Himalayan Tar, and many other wild animals. Nepali National bird Impeyan Pheasant and other birds like snowcock, the blood pheasant and red-billed cough are also seen in the park. Fir, Juniper, Birch, and rhododendron (Nepalese national flowers), are the beautiful plants of this region.

The original route to the Everest trekking region initiates from Jiri but now most of the trekkers prefer to a stunning flight to Lukla (2850m) from where the trek begins. While trekking from Lukla we will be surrounded by the breathtaking snow peaks and the trail is dotted with sacred Tibetan Buddhist Mani stones, colorful prayer flags and the occasional stupa (representing the mind of Buddha). The winding Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers are beautiful glacier-fed aqua blue, combined by many tributaries supporting waterfalls. Gradually we will reach to bustling Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar, to the most revered Tengboche Monastery, to crystal-clear Gokyo Lake, stunning Everest base camp and many other fantastic sites in the Everest region. On the way, we will share the trail with Yak trains and other exotic trekkers.

The best time to trek in the Everest region is from March to June and September to December. Now, the region is decorated by the simple guest house to high quality best lodges so we can make teahouse or lodge trekking.
