8 days Langtang valley trek is a comfortable trek for those who wish to enjoy the panorama view of white snowcapped mountains within a short time, this trekking region is closer to Kathmandu than other regions. Very famous and popular Langtang valley is aptly called the valley of glaciers here mountains rise, soaring towards the sky. The valley offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock, and snow-capped peaks.

The landscape of grassy downs, meadows with an abundance of flowers and wild animals are sure to leave you speechless. In the upper part of the valley, there are snow ridges spanning gushing torrents, high passes enveloped in the mist tiny lakes of crystalline brightness and glaciated mountain giants. Once you enter the Langtang valley you are surrounded by brightly painted fluttering prayer flags.

Just after the monsoon season, Langtang becomes easy and comfortable to access, a trek that provides picturesque views of the towering peak Langtang Lirung (7,246m). This peak dominates the upper valley skyline and straddles the Tibetan border. In the spring it becomes the ideal location to spot rare birds and flowers. According to a legend, a lama following a runaway yak discovered the valley, hence the name -Lang (Tibetan name for YAK), Tang (colloquially known as Dhang means to follow).
