7 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Tolka, an hour drive, 4 hours trek.

Day 02: Trek from Tolka to Chhomrong, 6 hours trek.

Day 03: Trek from Chhomrong to Himalaya hotel, 6 hours trek.

Day 04: Trek from Himalya hotel to Machhapuchre Base Camp, 5 hours trek.

Day 05: Trek from Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp. 4 hours trek.

Day 06: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Chhomrong, 7 hours trek.

Day 07: Trek from Chhomrong to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. 5 hours trek, 2 hours drive.

  • Day 01 Drive from Pokhara Dhampus Phedi and trek to Tolka:

    Drives to Phedi (30 minutes) and trek up to Dhampus, walking mostly uphill through cultivated fields and local villages… This scenic Gurung Village is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges including the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare range after having a lunch in Dhampus continue walking to Tolka a nice Gurung village.

  • Day 02 Trek from Tolka to Chhomrong

    Walking through nice terraces to Landruk a beautiful Gurung village provides you a excellent view from Landruk trail continues to Jhinu you can Enjoy a natural hot spring at Jhinu danda from here another hour uphill to Chhomrong. Stay at Chhomrong (2040m) towering above the villages is the mighty peak of Annapurna south, with the Fishtail facing it across the valley.

  • Day 03 Trek from Chhomrong to Himalaya hotel:

    Walk through the forest of Kuldighar. The track winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Himalaya hotel.

  • Day 04 Trek from Himalaya hotel to Machhapuchre Base Camp:

    A trek of the narrow Modi khola valley will bring you almost to the base of the M.B.C. Here you will spend a day gazing away at the snow covered peaks above and the beauty of the landscape around.

  • Day 05 Trek from Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp:

    Early morning walking to Annapurna Base Camp where you stand in the century, the 360 degree views are breathtaking. Explore the amphitheater style Base Camp, visit glaciers and viewpoints. Overnight at guest house at Base Camp.

  • Day 06 Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Chhomrong:

    Annapurna Base Camp (sanctuary) boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding panorama of the 360 degrees. We savor the awe-inspiring views of the Machhapuchre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli and other peaks. Climax of our trip almost ends today then we will trek back to Chhomrong which is most easy descending route. Overnight at guest house.

  • Day 07 Trek from Chhomrong to Pokhara:

    Walking through a flat level after an hour climb down to Kimrong Khola and start ascending you will work through rhododendron forest and nice terraces. Having lunch in Ghandruk, an ideal vantage point in this pristine village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli, continue walking to Birethanti along the terraced fields beneath the splendid panorama of awe-inspiring glaciated Himalayan mountain ranges, from Nayapul drive back to Pokhara.
