Day 1:An hour drive from Pokhara to Dhampus Village, trek to Tolka, 4 hrs walking

An hour's drive from Pokhara to Dhampus Village. This scenic Gurung Village is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges including the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare range. After having lunch in Dhampus 4 hours of scenic walking to Tolka a nice Gurung village. Overnight at guesthouse.

Trekking through rice terraces to Landruk a beautiful Gurung village provides you an excellent view from Landruk trail continues to Jhinu where we can enjoy a natural hot spring at Jhinu danda from here another hour uphill to Chhomrong. Stay at Chhomrong (2040m) towering above the villages is the mighty peak of Annapurna south, with the Fishtail facing it across the valley.

What is the best season for the ABC trekking 7 days?

With incredible natural views, the 7 days ABC hiking tour's best seasons will be pre or post-monsoon. From the end, March to mid-April or from the end of September to mid-December that is when the views are at its best and clear skies will be available during the entire Annapurna Base Camp trek with Alpine Eco Trek. The average trekking hours will be 5 to 7 hours per day and a maximum elevation of about 4100 meters so in order to fully enjoy this trek Alpine Eco Trek advice to have at least some type of practice before attempting the 7 days ABC trek in Nepal. Some of our fitness advice will be to do some morning jogging, gym or home fitness, and if possible practice hiking up some hills.

What is our accommodation during the 7 days hiking tour to ABC?

Our accommodation during the 7 days Nepal ABC trek is split up between hotel overnight in the main cities on a Bed and Breakfast basis and guesthouse overnight with breakfast lunch and dinner during the trek.

In Kathmandu and Pokhara:
The 7 days ABC hiking holidays is based on starting from Pokhara and ending in Pokhara. Normally hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara is not included in the package but we are happy to book the accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara for you as per your budget and choices.

During the Trek:
During the trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary and back, we stay at the local guesthouses. The Annapurna region is famed for its hospitable lodges and good food. As we stay at the local guesthouses we are trekking in remote regions, and while most guesthouses have warm water and WIFI access they might not be so luxurious. While trekking breakfast and dinner will be served in the guesthouses and lunch will be packed for a great picnic during the late midday. Alpine Eco Trek does recommend bringing a sleeping bag as it might bring you more comfort during your overnight stay during the trek.

What type of meals can I expect while trekking to Annapurna Base Camp?

The type of meals you can expect during your trek to Annapurna Base Camp varies from your stay in the main cities and during your trek to base camp. While staying in Kathmandu and Pokhara breakfast is included at the hotel. This is usually continental, local breakfast, or buffet. With lunch and dinner free as per your own choice Thamel and Pokhara both host great places to enjoy Nepal’s delicacies. During the actual trek to Annapurna Base Camp, we can expect amazing dishes in the guesthouses.
