With the 10 days Annapurna circuit trek, you get to explore the assorted ethno-cultures, varied religions, aboriginal people and their ethnic lifestyles, picturesque villages that lie on the lap of stunning Himalayan ranges.

We start the trek amongst the greenery of Besisahar where we slowly move towards Chame. While you’re on the road, you will come across the very fine villages that are homes to a wide diversity of inhabitants. All of whom come from varied ethnic groups but live together as a family. On our way, we will be offered marvelous views of the Himalayas. As the trek continues, towards the north of the main Himalayan range on to the high and arid Tibetan Plateau, the mountains become more stunning and gorgeous.

After numerous days of trekking on stony roads crossing several villages, we finally reach the highlight of our trip, the alpine village called Manang. Manang is where we relax for two days to acclimatize our body. Surrounded by the massive Himalayan giants, Manang delivers some of the best hiking points at your foot, to enjoy the views of Annapurna massif. We further trek for another 3 days which will take us over the Thorang La pass (5416m), to the divine and holy temple of Muktinath. Regarded as one of the most spiritual Hindu temples, Muktinath is one of the most phenomenal features of this trek. The eye appealing view of the White Mountains is beyond one’s imagination of a blissful and tranquil experience.

The district headquarters of Mustang region, Jomsom is where the 10 days Annapurna Circuit trek comes to an end. The very next day, a short 35 minutes scenic flight takes us to another tremendous and lively town, Pokhara. Our serivce 10 days trek ends here.

10 Days Annapurna Circuit trek, includes hiking through the foothills of Annapurna Himalayas visiting the ancient Manang village, crossing the highest trekking pass in the world (Thorong La 5,416m) to end the trek in Jomsom is one of the shortest options in Annapurna region. 

10 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek orientations:

Best Season:

Despite the fact that this trek can be done all year round, from Feb to June and Sept to mid Dec are the best preferable seasons for this trek. From Mid December till end of January the trails will be pretty quiet, there will be heavy snowing on the Thorong La Pass. It will be too cold at that time of year but the views are marvelous! July and Aug are rainy season in Nepal; we have organized 10 days Annapurna Circuit trek for several groups in this time of year as well.

You are recommended to come along with warm clothes and good hiking shoes from your home however, in Kathmandu and Pokhara there are wide availabilities of trekking shops where you can buy and rent the necessary gears for the Annapurna Circuit 10 days trek. 

Complementary Bag:

A large duffel bag (30liters) of Alpine Eco Trek will be provided to you for your trek; you can put your entire equipments in this duffel bag which will be carried by our porters. 

Your Trek Bag/Duffel Bag:

You will be greeted at the Chame village bus station by our potters; they will carry your trek bag/duffel bag, 1 porter for 2 clients, our porters can carry up to 20KG. 

Jomsom Flight:

All the flights from Jomsom to Pokhara are scheduled to fly before noon. The one and only Yeti Airline will be flying from Jomsom to Pokhara.  A small plane (16 person capacity, twin Otter single seated plane) with window seat guaranteed and weight limit is 15 Kg including your hand bag.

Tips to complete the 10 Annapurna Circuit trek successfully: 

Embark on a magical 10 day Annapurna circuit trek; one of the most beautiful treks in Annapurna region, the trek to Annapurna circuit begins with a pleasant walk through the world famous Marsayngdi River valley. This trek does not include any technical climb, therefore no need of any previous trekking or climbing experience or even any high altitude experience to complete the 10 days Annapurna circuit trek. However, you need to be physically fit and have great strength, conditioning and endurance to be able to complete the trek and to fully enjoy the marvelous trip of a lifetime.
So, we recommend you to spend at least 3 to 4 days a week doing some normal physical training for 2 to 3 months prior to departure date of the trek. Joining a Gym, hiking/ walking and good aerobic/ jumba exercises including jogging, swimming and cycling will be highly recommended before starting the 10 days Annapurna circuit trek.
