Although it is possible to trek in Nepal Himalaya throughout the entire year, certain regions and trails have an ideal time, due to safety and extreme weather conditions. March to May (Spring Season) and October to December (Autumn Season) are the ideal times to enjoy the idyllic panoramic views of the mountain ranges. There are some trekking destinations in which you can still trek in the monsoon season, like Upper Mustang trek and Upper Dolpo trek. A number of lodges and hotels have been established in most of the hiking and trekking routes, facilitating travel to remote areas of Nepal. While trekking in Nepal, hikers get to choose to stay either in camp or the teahouses (lodges) that can be found on most of the trekking routes.
